Wage Range: $34.57 - $55.32
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and implementing effective training and learning solutions that support organizational, operational, and regulatory needs. Serves as a subject matter expert in instructional design, adult learning, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, and learning technologies. Ensures training content, records, assignments, data, and system configurations are accurate, current, effective, and compliant. Works collaboratively as part of a team of LMS administrators to analyze and resolve system and training-related issues. Performs quality assurance and data reconciliation, monitors training effectiveness, and identifies opportunities for process improvement. Collaborates with business and clinical partners to deliver training and supports organizational objectives.
Primary Duties
- Designs, develops, organizes, and delivers application-specific learning solutions, including classroom training, e-learning, supporting materials, and competency-based resources.
- Maintains and ensures training content remains current, effective, and aligns with organizational objectives and learner needs.
- Facilitates engaging training and effectively communicates complex information to diverse audiences through verbal and written instruction.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in learning technologies and technical applications, including LMS, Articulate 360, and video editing tools.
- Provides exceptional customer service by utilizing verbal and written channels to effectively resolve concerns and support learners, stakeholders, and department needs.
- Collaborates with leadership, IT, Clinical Informatics, and other business partners to achieve learning and organizational objectives. Identifies trends, mitigates risks, and recommends process improvements related to learning systems and training administration.
- Supports a high-quality user experience by utilizing strong analytical skills to identify root causes and problem-solve LMS system-related issues.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews of training records, learning data, assignments, and system configurations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Supports accurate reporting and reconciles discrepancies as needed.
- Interprets and applies organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements to learning programs, processes, and system administration activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education, or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education/ Adult Learning Technology, Human Resources, Information Technology, Nursing, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in instructional design
- 2 years of experience facilitating training for adult learners
- 2 years of experience as a System Administrator for a web-based Learning Management System
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, OneNote, Clipchamp)
- Intermediate knowledge of Articulate, Camtasia, and Canva design tools
- Working knowledge of system-to-system sync
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and maintain productive relationships
DESIRED for the position:
- Experience delivering remote training, utilizing Teams or similar delivery mechanism
- Intermediate knowledge of Power BI
- Intermediate knowledge of xAPI
- Working knowledge of Powtoons design tool
- Knowledge of medical terminology, inpatient clinical operations, and workflow
- Understanding of clinical roles and responsibilities in hospital and outpatient settings
- Certificate in Adult Learning Technology or similar
- Certificate in instructional design or similar
