 a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.

 c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.

 e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. 
  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 1 year manufacturing experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience)
  • Ability to read/understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; effective verbal communication with team and customers
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds; pass static strength (grip) requirements
  • Visual acuity (near, far), depth perception, color vision, field of vision
  • Use of personal protective equipment: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots
  • Mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; fractions and decimals) and practical problem-solving/reasoning ability
  • Completion of position-related safety, JHA, material handling, 5S, product appearance, and other required training
