Summary
The Training Specialist consults with business leaders to address the learning needs of the organization. In collaboration with E-Learning Developers, the Training Specialist will develop content and facilitate interactive training. Live classroom training is delivered on a bi-weekly schedule to assigned geographic regions requiring 50% travel. The successful Training Specialist will build and maintain relationships, identify development opportunities and provide exceptional service.
Essential Job Functions:
- Content development focusing on blended learning and interactive delivery.
- Facilitate training subjects including but not limited to sales, service, leadership, and systems.
- Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication.
- Conduct needs assessments in consultation with business leaders.
- Collaborate with E Learning Developers and Documentation Specialists on learning initiatives.
- Market and support the Learning Management System.
- Schedule and ensure quality of vendor product training.
- Develop a proficient to advanced understanding of the proprietary IMS system.
- Responsible for setting up the training environment including computers.
- Maintain knowledge and expertise in learning and development competencies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- Minimum three years training and facilitation experience, required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Bilingual, strongly preferred.
