Purpose and Scope:
Manages and maintains Readiness Insight or similar training data base and all training requirements for personnel. Maintains all certification forms, exams, and computer products in relation to the certification / licensing program.
Essential Responsibilities:
Utilizes Readiness Insight or similar data base to manage all aspects of required training for T-54 / T-44 personnel at Corpus Christi. Maintains the Readiness Insight or similar data base to reflect an accurate and up-to-date status of all training and certifications requirements for all personnel assigned. Trains personnel in the functions and use of Readiness Insight or similar data base. Indoctrinates new personnel, establishes and issues training requirements upon check in. Coordinates all certification requirements with work center supervisors and outside agencies to ensure class quotas and training is attained in a timely manner. Coordinates and keeps Managers, Supervisors, Shift Leads, and Crew Leaders informed of all certification and licensing requirements to ensure personnel obtain and retain qualifications within appropriate timelines. Processes and tracks all special process certifications and re-certifications for all employees. Coordinates and provides administrative assistance in developing licensing and certification processes, to include the development of examinations and OJT requirements in accordance with applicable Government / Company policies and instructions. Assists in preparation of CDRL's. Distributes to work centers a monthly report of personnel scheduled for re-certification. Submits training and data for the Monthly Maintenance Plan and/or Monthly Personnel Plan. Administers and grades exams for initial and recurring certifications. Issues support equipment licenses. Prepares typed and / or computer printed correspondence and reports for Quality Assurance. Maintains files of correspondence, directives, and other reports as required. Deals with the customer in courteous, professional, and effective manner. Works harmoniously with other employees, promoting teamwork and cooperation. Complies with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility, and job assignment. Assists as directed to ensure safety, security and preservation of government /company owned equipment. Maintains cleanliness of work center.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Graduation from high school or GED required.
- Must be able to meet Government / Company licensing / qualification requirements for the position.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a maintenance training coordinator.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience working within with ASM/ASMi/ Readiness Insight or similar data base to develop, initiate, and/or modify elements within the system, as well as assigning training and developing reports.
- Must have a thorough working knowledge of applicable maintenance / technical manuals and publications.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
- Must have functional knowledge and skills to operate computer equipment.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English Language.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Government/Company Vehicles including the EZ-GO, computers, copiers, fax machines and other general office equipment.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- Administrative office environment with minimum exposure to noise hazards.
- Aircraft maintenance shops and hangars.
- May require travel to attend Company sponsored training or seminars and perform system training and audits at T-54/T44 site.

Compensation Details:
$68,000.00
