Job Description:

We are seeking a Training and Exercise Manager to provide comprehensive support to the Air Combat Command (ACC) intelligence training and exercise programs. The ideal candidate will leverage knowledge and experience in Air Force intelligence operations to develop, coordinate, and execute training requirements, exercises, and readiness events. This role involves working closely with ACC units, supporting the Instructional System Design (ISD) process, facilitating exercise planning, and ensuring adherence to training standards and objectives.

Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Provide intelligence training and exercise support to ACC units, including developing, delivering, and conducting training for intelligence personnel supporting unit operations.
  • Assist in all phases of the Instructional System Design (ISD) process for ACC intelligence formal courses, including analysis and development of training requirements, course control documents, and assessment of training effectiveness.
  • Conduct Intelligence Realistic Training Review Boards (IRTRB) and Formal Course Reviews (FCR) for ACC supported weapon systems.
  • Review, update, and manage Intelligence Initial Qualification Course (IIQC) requirements and academic material to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Facilitate requirements development for emerging mission areas and training needs within ACC, including developing and delivering qualification training.
  • Assist in designing, developing, producing, and delivering training products, materials, and course control documents, and managing student attendance, graduation, and feedback processes.
  • Aid in developing and maintaining scheduled classroom courses/distance learning for in-garrison, pre-deployment, employment, and redeployment of intelligence personnel.
  • Review and advise on ACC intelligence units' training and exercise programs to ensure compliance with MAJCOM standards and objectives.
  • Ensure unit training objectives align with ACC exercise training objectives and proper standards.
  • Support ACC/A23 in conducting Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) related to training and exercise programs.
  • Provide technical support, assistance, and advice on ACC intelligence exercise matters at the Service, Joint, and IC levels.
  • Participate in Joint C4ISR experimentation planning, operational exercises, system development, integration activities, and identifying training gaps.
  • Integrate applicable DoD, Service, and IC doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) into ACC's exercise development and training programs.
  • Provide representation during drafting, reviewing, editing, and staffing of intelligence policy and guidance documents related to training and exercise programs.
  • Participate in meetings, working groups, and forums to advocate, plan, and implement ACC intelligence training and exercise policies, doctrine, and TTPs.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Possession of an active TS/SCI government security clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in intelligence training, exercise planning, or related roles within the Air Force or military environment.
  • Proficiency in Instructional System Design (ISD) processes and training development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of intelligence operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience in exercise planning and execution at various levels (Service, Joint, IC).
  • Knowledge of DoD, Service, and IC doctrine, policies, and TTPs related to intelligence training and exercise.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
