DT Professional Services is seeking a Training and Development Specialist (Management Analyst I) to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role will provide support/assume responsibilities for Office of Workforce Development programs such as the command’s competency training program and workforce development internal and external programming.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research for programs and opportunities available to the workforce for further development training opportunities for the general workforce.
- Assist with various aspects of training classes such as opening classes and other associated tasks in support of the competencies and Command Interest Program Managers.
- Provide Waypoints training and information to the workforce.
- Develop and maintain various metrics.
- Create documents such as SOPs and Statements of Work.
- Other duties assigned.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, SharePoint Online, Power Point, and Adobe PDF.
- Experience within a customer service and professional office setting.
- Proactive, highly organized, and consistently punctual, with a strong track record of producing high-quality work within established timelines.
- Takes initiative and collaborates effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
- Previous experience within training and development.
- Experience with U.S. Navy systems and platforms, such as Flank Speed and Navy Waypoints.
