Arsenal Credit Union is seeking a Training and Development Coordinator to join our training team at our corporate office in Arnold, Missouri. This position reports to the Training and Development Manager. The Training and Development Coordinator facilitates and supports training and development programs for employees and managers. This role assists with the design, implementation, and maintenance of learning initiatives that align with organizational goals and workforce development needs. Key responsibilities include facilitating sessions, administering programs, supporting employee onboarding, managing learning resources, coordinating development initiatives, evaluating training effectiveness, and identifying opportunities to strengthen employee development. Candidates with direct training experience who can facilitate training sessions within a short time are strongly preferred.

 What will you be responsible for:

  • Conducts and assists with new employee onboarding by coordinating training schedules, preparing materials, facilitating training sessions, and ensuring successful completion of onboarding requirements.
  • Assists in the development, maintenance, and distribution of training materials, job aids, procedural documentation, reference guides, and other learning resources.
  • Assists in the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of training programs and learning resources to support employee development and organizational objectives.
  • Maintains and updates the organization's knowledge base and learning resources to ensure information remains accurate, current, and accessible.
  • Tracks, maintains, and audits employee training records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completion of required training programs.
  • Generates and maintains training reports, participation records, and completion statistics for management review and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What skills does this position require?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Communications, or a related field preferred. 
  • Two (2) years of training, employee development, customer service, administrative support, financial institution, or related experience preferred. 
  • Prior credit union or banking experience preferred. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions and communicate information clearly and professionally. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented when priorities change or new challenges arise.
  • Professional appearance, conduct, and attitude are consistent with organization expectations.
