POSITION PURPOSE:

This position ensures that training is conducted and documented for all Production, Sanitation, Engineering and FSQS associates. Ensure development plans for training support the Organization’s goals. This position will be responsible for completion and improvement of training programs.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Coordinate with HR Administrator and Production Supervisors for new hire try-outs.  Evaluate applicant for suitability in production environment. Be the liaison between supervisors, trainees and new hires.
  2. Consults with plant managers and supervisors to assess training needs. Will develop, implement and deliver training programs for varying levels of individuals within plant to include new hire and forklift training.
  3. Develops and maintains continual education support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed. Documents completed training in the Alchemy System. Documents procedures for the plant standard operation processes and develops training letters.
  4. Continually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed. Develop key performance indicators to report on training objectives.
  5. Assist with HR administrator in coordinating and conducting new hire orientations.

Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must have good command of the English language, oral and written. Fluent in Spanish, oral and written preferred

Education and/or experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through-out the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, on occasion.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
