Who we need
Our Creative team in Munich produces trailers, short-form videos, and visual assets for social media campaigns. These campaigns reach millions of movie fans across over 140 countries and are crafted in collaboration with the world's largest movie studios and streaming platforms.
To support our Creative Production office in Munich, we are looking for a Trainee Video Editor (m/f/d) who is passionate about visual storytelling, social media, and everything related to movies and series.
We’re not just looking for someone to follow instructions — we want someone eager to learn how the world works from the ground up, deliver results that create real value, and grow into their creative potential.
What you will be doing
- Dive into the production processes of our Creative Production team in Munich.
- Learn how to develop and edit trailers and short-form content, especially for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Support in subtitling, rebranding, and localizing trailers for global markets.
- Explore advertising libraries and identify emerging social media trends to inspire new creative formats.
- Work collaboratively with producers, project managers, and creatives to develop compelling video content.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to campaign strategies.
- Assist in organizing, scheduling, and tracking ongoing video projects.
- Gain insight into all phases of production — from planning to post-production.
What we need from you
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI tools and workflows — you're someone who regularly experiments with AI for creative or production purposes and stays on top of new developments.
- A strong passion for movies, series, and visual storytelling.
- Interest in social media trends, advertising, and digital video formats.
- Some initial experience or education in video editing or media production (internships, school projects, etc.).
- A structured yet flexible mindset, able to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
- Eagerness to learn Adobe Creative Cloud tools (especially Premiere Pro and After Effects).
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- A collaborative spirit, creative thinking, and a love for teamwork.
