What’s the role about?
As part of our Womenswear design department, you’ll be joining as our Trainee Print Designer, who is responsible for supporting and developing seasonal concepts and designs. Working closely with the design team to ensure that the collections are successful and meeting Reiss standards.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, the successful candidate will be available to start from February 2025.
Who you are
- Experience in a high-end/luxury or premium brand is preferable but not essential
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- You are a team player, able to work independently when necessary
- You are highly creative with refined taste and strong market and commercial awareness
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment working with tight deadlines and across several projects simultaneously
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Print Designer from research to print development and final artwork
- Support with finalising artworks in photoshop and illustrator from both vintage references and hand drawings
- Assisting with launching artwork print packs that are print ready for suppliers. Updating trackers and boards with up-to-date information
- A firm understanding of garment patterns and colour for delivering strike offs and design CADs for successful prototypes and design meetings
- Working closely with buying and design teams to ensure commercial but creative seasonal collections that are delivered to deadlines
- Any other duty as directed by management
