Edge Systems is seeking multiple experienced and entry level Mudloggers for our growing operations in the US.

With extensive experience in major oil and gas plays like the Bakken, Barnett, Eagleford, Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus and Permian, We are able to provide the highest quality of logging services. In addition, we are one the most experienced logging companies (in operation since 1964) with dedicated safety, training and personnel.

Locations Hiring: Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Texas, West Texas, New Mexico, Offshore GoM, Alaska, Wyoming and specialty carbon capture and geothermal projects throughout the US.

18-25 days / month working rotation

Qualifications

Desired candidates will meet the following criteria

  • Tier 1 (Suggested Requirement) - B.S. or higher in Geology or other Natural Sciences
  • Tier 2 (Minimum Requirement) - A.S. in Engineering, Technology or Natural Sciences OR a technical Military Background 
  • Ability to work 1-3 weeks on with normal shift rotations
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to self manage

  • Advanced English and writing skills
  • Reliable Mode of transportation
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Ability to pass a Background check  
    • No habitual (2+) misdemeanors 
    • No Violent, Assault or sexual crimes
    • 2 or more DUI/DWIs will disqualify a candidate
    • No Drug charges
    • Must have a valid and current Driver's License with no more than three violations in the past 24 months
    • No Felony charges
    • Any other chares that could violate client or Edge specific guidelines.  
  • Legal Right to work in the US (NO exceptions); Domestic Phone Numbers only
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and the ability to work 12 hour shifts safely

Skills Required

  • A.S. in Engineering, Technology or Natural Sciences OR technical Military Background
  • B.S. or higher in Geology or other Natural Sciences
  • Ability to work 1-3 weeks on with normal shift rotations and 18-25 days/month rotation
  • Willingness to work in remote locations and offshore/Alaska as assigned
  • Strong knowledge of geology, math, and chemistry
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Advanced English and writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to self-manage
  • Reliable mode of transportation and domestic phone number
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Ability to pass background check (no violent/sexual crimes, no felonies, no drug charges, no 2+ DUIs, no habitual (2+) misdemeanors)
