What you'll be doing and learning:
- Client & Advice Support
- Supporting Financial Planners and Senior Financial Planners before, during and after client meetings
- Preparing meeting packs, taking structured notes, and completing follow‑up actions
- Helping to gather, check and maintain accurate client information and fact finds
- Assisting with the preparation of cashflow models, annual planning documents and basic analysis under supervision
- Supporting Adviser Instruction
- Forms and paraplanning submissions
- Ensuring client files meet internal quality, record‑keeping and regulatory standards
- Working within Advice Policy, Consumer Duty requirements and Training & Competence supervision arrangements
- Developing a strong understanding of compliant advice processes and good professional judgement
- Actively working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
- Participating in structured training, coaching and technical development
- Observing and gradually contributing to client meetings as skills and confidence develop
- Taking ownership of your personal development and career progression
You don’t need previous adviser experience, but you should bring:
- A strong interest in financial planning, wealth management or financial advice
- Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism
- The ability to follow structured processes and work within regulatory frameworks
- Developing written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity, ethics and a client‑first mindset
Expectations:
- No formal financial planning qualifications required on entry
- You must be willing to work towards (or already be studying for) the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
- You’ll be expected to achieve Level 4 within an agreed timeframe
- All work will be carried out under in line with our within the Training & Competence scheme
