ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Regional Accountant to manage financial operations across Latin America, with a focus on Brazil and Colombia. This person owns contractor onboarding, invoice reconciliation, and payment processing, while coordinating daily with IT, HR, and Delivery teams. Strong attention to detail is essential.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage contractor onboarding and offboarding end to end.
- Collect and process invoices from contractors and vendors.
- Review and validate hours reported in the time-tracking system.
- Manage payment operations through payment platforms.
- Answer finance-related questions from contractors.
- Communicate with vendors on operational finance issues.
- Coordinate daily with other Finance teams on cross-functional questions.
- Track corporate and client-owned equipment, reconciling asset status.
- Monitor local finance and legal/regulatory changes in Brazil and Colombia.
MUST HAVES
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or Accounting.
- 0-3 years of experience in Accounting.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain clear, accurate financial records.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Organized, methodical approach to work.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and related tools).
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience in accounting or finance within the IT industry.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to streamline daily workflows.
- Working knowledge of local financial regulations in Brazil & Colombia.
