Position Summary:
Concentric’s Philadelphia metropolitan area team is seeking a Full-Time Trading Operations Associate who is meticulous, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and is an independent multi-tasker. This individual will primarily support the day-to-day trading operations but may also engage in buy-side fixed income trading for the firm’s SMA platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily equity and fixed income trade settlement and reconciliation
- Liaison between the PHL Trading Desk, internal functional teams, and counterparties (e.g., brokers and custodians)
- Best execution review and analysis
- Portfolio reporting and project management
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, Advisors, and counterparties
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong work ethic
Preferred:
- Business degree
- Experience working in investment operations
- Familiarity with industry-standard platforms, specifically Bloomberg
- Knowledge of equity and fixed income markets, key instruments, investment strategies, and risk measures
- Equity order management and/or fixed income portfolio management software proficiency
- INDATA and/or Advent knowledge
