As a Trading Lifecycle Associate within the Payment Lifecycle team at JPMorganChase, you will manage moderate-to-complex operational activities across brokerage cash and asset movements. You will ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time by following documented procedures, applying risk discipline, and escalating issues appropriately. You will also partner with stakeholders to resolve non-routine items and help improve processes and controls. The team operates across New Jersey, Delaware, and Buenos Aires. This role is based in Delaware.


Job responsibilities

  • Own and manage a core Asset Movements workflow, such as payments, journals, deliveries, or escrows, ensuring consistent execution and strong risk controls.
  • Monitor daily queue volumes and workflow health, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and escalate or resolve technical and processing issues to maintain service levels and meet cut-offs.
  • Review and approve daily collateral movements from brokerage accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable policies and procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve escalations with clear accountability, applying structured problem-solving to drive timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assets both internally and to external firms across U.S. and international markets, coordinating effectively across functions and time zones.
  • Support end-to-end process reviews and enhancements by applying process improvement methodologies, strengthening controls, reducing manual touchpoints, and improving cycle times.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives by leveraging understanding of system workflows and automation capabilities to improve operational efficiency and reduce error risk.
  • Maintain end-to-end understanding of relevant processes, identifying root causes, documenting issues, and partnering with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Ability to obtain, retain, or successfully transfer Series 99 registration as required by FINRA and applicable state requirements (You will have 90 days to obtain the series 99 license if you do not currently have it - flexible).

  • Prior experience in securities operations, particularly in cash and asset movements, settlements, or brokerage operations.
