IMC is currently looking for multi-talented and passionate Trading Engineers. You will be part of a highly experienced team, facing the daily challenges of running a distributed low latency trading platform.
Your Core Responsibilities:

Oversee operation and maintenance of our trading systems
Develop automation tools to reduce operational overhead
Collaborate with traders and developers to improve the system architecture
Perform in-depth analysis of real time systems
Provide support for proprietary trading systems deployed across a multi-platform production environment
Support core market connectivity and correspond with exchanges regarding trade order activity, connectivity, and other related technical support issues

Your Skills and Experience:

Self-driven, passion for engineering, and a natural sense of curiosity
Team player with strong communication skills
In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux operating system (CentOS and/or Ubuntu experience is a plus)
Excellent command of Python
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
Prior experience supporting high performance applications, process monitoring, and troubleshooting
Experience with kubernetes / docker is a plus
Bachelors in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Technology or similar field

If I ship code today, I can expect it to enter production the next day and can even get some analysis from traders on the technological and monetary impact it has made.
