We are looking for a Trading Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in financial markets. This role sits at the heart of our trading operations and decision-making processes.
You will go beyond pure data analysis - transforming complex datasets into clear insights, influencing strategic decisions, and helping optimize how our trading systems operate at scale.
As a Trading Analyst, you will:
● Be responsible for the ongoing configuration and performance of Plus500’s financial instruments.
● Analyze market data, user behavior, and internal performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
● Translate data insights into practical, actionable recommendations that impact business outcomes.
● Develop a deep understanding of trading mechanics across asset classes - including Stocks, Commodities, Futures, Options, and more.
● Establish strong communication channels and build excellent working relationships with diverse stakeholders like Product, Marketing, Operations, and R&D teams.
● Monitor business performance, define KPIs, and build measurement frameworks to support data-driven decisions.
● Provide stakeholders with actionable recommendations, insights, and conclusions.
● At least 2 years of experience in a data-driven position.
● Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
● Experience with SQL.
● Experience with Python and relevant packages.
● Experience with BI systems (Tableau - advantage).
● Good background in statistics.
● Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently.
● Demonstrate a thorough attention to detail and the ability to perform in-depth analyses while considering the broader business context.
● Willingness to work under pressure and time constraints, sometimes outside of regular office hours (not always! but sometimes 😊)
● Recommended - Background in a B2C company.
● Recommended - Understanding or interest in Financial Markets, Finance, or Online Trading.
