Job Description

Due to exciting growth at Sportradar, we're building our MTS team in Central London and looking for a Trading Analyst with strong betting knowledge to join our MTS team. Our MTS (Managed Trading Service) is a liability management service for bookmakers and lotteries for both pre-match and live odds-on Sports. The service delivers a complete risk management service for all events where odds are offered.

As a Trading Analyst, you'll lead the daily operation of Sportradar's Managed Trading Service alongside a diverse, supportive team. You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering complete risk management services—and part of our commitment to building a more inclusive sports betting industry.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Stay connected to the sports you love by analyzing information as it impacts betting markets.
  • Monitor betting activity in real-time and manage client risk effectively.
  • Analyse betting data from our growing global client base to uncover meaningful patterns.
  • Support betting operators by responding to their queries with clarity and expertise.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights through well-crafted management reports.
  • Drive improvements in betting performance through data-driven recommendations.
  • Conduct customer segmentation to validate machine learning outputs.
  • Shape future ways of working by testing trading platforms.
  • Share your insights to improve new tools and features.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong familiarity with a wide range of sports, especially those popular in UK, European, and US betting markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of betting markets, odds structures, and risk management of core betting sports (UK, European and US).
  • In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets. 
  • Exceptional mathematical skills, with proficiency in Excel or SQL for odds analysis.
  • Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry would be advantageous. 
  • Dependable decision-making skills when under a time pressure like the trading environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. 
  • Experience using data visualization tools.
  • Ability to take immediate action in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • An initiative-taking team player, able to work with new teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. 
  • Flexibility to work with shift-based patterns.
