THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Trading Analyst to join our Options Market Making business. The ideal candidate will work closely with the trading desk, using data manipulation and analytical techniques to create actionable insights and frameworks that support the ongoing refinement and innovation of our trading strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create tools and systems to advance the team’s trading and processes
- Work on projects to improve trading, and automation to support our research, pricing and execution
- Manage day-to-day operations of desk-owned applications that facilitate trading
- Analyse trading strategies and suggest improvements to manage position sizes and risk
- Collaborate with traders to design and refine trading strategies through data analysis and prototyping.
- To comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:
- Strong Python skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Interest in financial markets.
- Outstanding numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to take a high level of responsibility in an expanding, highly successful firm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fast problem solving skills
- Knowledge of GIT CI/CD
- Knowledge of additional compiled languages is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM subject
