As a Trade Operations Specialty Product Associate II within the Global Trade Operations team, you will act as a senior level manager and an expert in Global Trade products with a strong emphasis on Risk and Controls. You will be processing/releasing transactions including but not limited to commercial (import & export) and standby letters of credit, documentary collections, bank to bank reimbursements, supply chain finance, trade loans, open account, etc. for our global clients
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the team, being directly responsible for up to 5 employees.
- Conduct daily huddles and meetings to pass on process-related updates.
- Coordinate with global ops partners to manage the work.
- Plan and manage leaves and daily volume priorities.
- Drive the goals set by Trade & Working Capital Management.
- Create an inclusive environment for all employees.
- Share regular and constructive feedback with your team.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork among employees.
- Ensure transactions are processed according to JPM policies and ICC Rules like UCP600/ISBP/URR.
- Monitor queues and transaction assignments, identifying red flags and escalating issues for review.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a team
- Ability to operate in a complex, high-pressure, highly regulated environment in support of high-risk processes.
- Possess the ability to analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and influence internal partners to implement changes.
- Possess the ability to work on multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlines.
- Well versed with URC, UCP, URR & ISBP
- Queue Monitoring, Work Allocation and Prioritization
- Willing to go above & beyond to ensure timely delivery
- Understanding of US Regulations & OFAC Compliance
- Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- CDCS & CITF certifications will be an added preference
