As a Credit Derivatives Trading Services Associate in the Credit Derivatives Trading Services team, you will support accurate transaction capture and lifecycle processing while executing key controls that help keep trading activity efficient and well-managed. You will partner closely with the trading desk, operations partners, and infrastructure teams to resolve exceptions, improve processes, and strengthen end-to-end workflows.
Job responsibilities
- Capture transactions accurately and on time in designated trading and risk systems
- Perform intraday and end-of-day completeness and reconciliation checks to support accurate processing of trading activity
- Execute required controls, evidence completion, and complete timely sign-offs in line with established procedures
- Partner with the trading desk and support teams to triage questions, investigate breaks, and drive timely resolution
- Coordinate across operations partners and infrastructure teams to support end-to-end processing and reduce operational risk
- Contribute to strategic and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency, control design, and operating model clarity
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of credit derivatives trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience supporting credit derivatives trading, trading services, middle office, trade support, or a closely related function
- Working knowledge of credit derivatives products such as credit default swaps, indices, tranches, options, and total return swaps
- Working knowledge of hedging and related products such as interest rate swaps, corporate bonds, futures, equity securities, and equity derivatives
- Understanding of front-to-back trade processing, including confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting concepts
- Ability to coordinate issue resolution across multiple teams, using clear documentation and structured follow-up
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and commitment to a well-controlled environment
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to identify patterns, investigate exceptions, and propose practical fixes
- Strong problem-solving skills, including comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and operational controls

- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.

- Experience performing reconciliations, break management, and control execution within a governed operating model

- Comfort working with large datasets and translating findings into clear operational actions (e.g., pivots, trend analysis, exception reporting)
- Experience partnering effectively across trading, operations, risk, finance, legal, or collateral stakeholders
