Job Summary:
As a Trading Services Analyst within Commercial & Investment Bank you will be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation. You will upload market data to different risk management systems, perform reconciliations against market sources, and ensure trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office and middle office to back office reconciliations. Your role involves investigating and providing solutions to queries from settlements and confirmations, producing management statistics, and completing operations projects and ad hoc requests to support new initiatives and technology enhancements.
Job Responsibilities:

• Upload market data to various risk management systems.
• Perform reconciliations against market sources to verify trading positions.
• Conduct control reconciliations through front office to middle office and middle office to back office.
• Investigate and resolve queries from settlements and confirmations.
• Produce management statistics to support decision-making.
• Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests for new initiatives and technology enhancements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Strong logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
• Understanding of process flows, including the ability to comprehend current flows and system linkages and identify opportunities for improvement and streamlining.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Previous experience in the finance industry, particularly in operations roles.
• Rates derivatives experience is a plus
• VBA knowledge.
• BA or BS degree, with a focus on Economics or Industrial Engineering.
