Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 450 people operating throughout North America and in Europe. Role Overview: Trade strategy developers design and implement algorithms and models that inform and execute trade decisions in various financial markets. They work collaboratively with trading teams to adapt strategies to market changes and new opportunities. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm’s trading capabilities and response to market conditions, contributing significantly to its financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop algorithms to automate trading processes and improve decision-making.
- Continuously evaluate and refine trading strategies based on performance data and market conditions.
- Implement robust testing regimes to ensure strategy effectiveness before deployment.
Skills Required:
- Strong in C++
- Proficient in Python, and Java.
- Strong analytical skills with a good grasp of financial markets and trading principles.
- Ability to collaborate with trading teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
- Collaborative Nature: Engages with both technical and trading teams to develop strategies that optimize the firm’s trading performance across various markets.
