About the role
The Trade Marketing Manager shall support the Trade Marketing head by bridging the gap between the Sales and Marketing teams by driving product demand in retail channels through effective sales and marketing strategies which drive consumer interest, boost brand visibility, and increase GoTyme Bank’s market share.
- Lead and implement channel specific marketing strategies for assigned regions, area and specific locations.
- Manage and execute the Go-to-market strategies (GTM) from Marketing and identify new promotional opportunities
- Build relationships with key suppliers, identify new revenue and cost efficient opportunities
- Develop and execute the Trade Marketing Plans in line with sales and marketing objectives and manage the Trade Marketing budget across channels and customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to commercialize brand plans and translate to regional short and/ or long term programs
- Develop commercial toolboxes, including sell-in materials for the sales teams, and in-store (POS) materials for the partners.
- Segment the customer base and work closely with P&Ls to optimize channel strategies and maximize ROI
- Improve brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
- Conceptualize and execute trade promotions and rollout impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
- Lead activation programs with sales and marketing teams.
- Conduct fieldwork and sales visit regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, guidelines are respected, improve existing program.

Must haves
- A bachelor's degree preferably Marketing or Business course
- Holds a driver’s license
- At least 5 years work experience in the banking industry or FMCG with nationwide rollout of campaigns
