A day in the life:

Join one of the world's most iconic brands and play a key role in bringing Monster Energy to consumers across the region. You'll lead trade marketing campaigns from strategy through execution, drive brand visibility across retail and digital channels, and execute up to 50 in-store activations each year. Working closely with global stakeholders, including teams in Asia and Monster's Global HQ in Corona, CA, you'll help shape market strategy while building a truly international career. The impact you’ll make:
  • Owner for all trade marketing-related processes, including promotions, sampling activations, trade executions, premiums and apparel. Ensure smooth and on-time execution by local marketing teams.
  • Analyze local promotions and trade programs to drive business results, ensure brand alignment, and obtain required approvals for successful execution.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify and address any potential risks associated with the local marketing program, while collaborating with leadership to ensure full endorsement of programs by the relevant cross-functional teams.
  • Combine strong project management and ownership with deep trade and consumer insights to drive projects from planning through on-time execution.
  • Collaborate across regions with the Asia Marketing Operations team and Global HQ in Corona, CA to optimize workflows, close operational gaps, and drive continuous improvement in program delivery and execution.
  • Prepare required POSMs and premiums for key business channels—including CVS, SM, Vending, and EC and execute approximately 50 in‑store campaigns annually with flawless delivery.
  • Act as the brand gatekeeper by fully adhering to brand guidelines and executing consumer‑appealing brand activations that align with business requirements.
  • Serve as the central liaison for internal and external stakeholders, providing solutions and ideas that ensure risk‑free execution of all initiatives. (A sound understanding of local regulations, including the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, is required.)
  • Demonstrate effective communication and problem‑solving skills to enable smooth collaboration within the APAC region. 
Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Between 3-5 years of experience in marketing, trade, sales management, Consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in marketing business planning, revenue management leadership.
  • Advanced user Microsoft office -- PowerPoint, Words, Excel.
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
