As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in trade lifecycle management will be crucial in ensuring all trades are processed on respective platforms, and in coordinating cash movements in and out of client accounts. You will be expected to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues, while ensuring compliance with technical standards and organizational policies. Your role will involve liaising with multiple departments, managing projects, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. You will also be responsible for establishing productive relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting to senior management, and managing change effectively. Your ability to influence, coupled with your market product knowledge and data & tech literacy, will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Knowledge of the technical infrastructure that supports the business & effectively utilizes infrastructure for daily tasks. Ensure all transactions are correctly matched for smooth settlement
- Pre-matching and settlement of Fixed Income trades ( including Priority client focus )
- Delivery management, cross depot stock movements - identify and instruct Payment processing SBL intraday activity, escalation and resolution of failing trades,
- Instruction of bond conversions - both physical and ADRs
- Validation of interest claims, Auto-borrow reports, Daily High/Credit Risk reporting.
- Resolution of Cash and Stock breaks working closely with Reconciliations team and verification of manual instructions
- Continuously participate in projects involving new system implementation, process improvements, etc
- Working closely with the Business (Desk Heads, Global and Regional Business Managers) to understand their needs / priorities / issues
- Work closely with technology partners to design the right solutions and implement requirements for future state, focusing on the priorities and efficiency saves.
- Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum future process to the business
- Requirements gathering for the build of the future state, clearly documenting workflows, E2E processes, controls along the lifecycle and new roles and responsibilities
- Graduation with 10 years of experience
- A strong control mindset and adherence to a high degree of business ethics
