Chemours is seeking a Trade Data Analyst – Digital Trade Solutions to join our Global Trade Compliance team within the Trade Center of Excellence. This role will support the continued modernization of Chemours’ global trade compliance program by transforming trade, shipment, and ERP data into actionable insights, repeatable controls, and digitally enabled decision support.
The Trade Data Analyst will operate at the intersection of trade compliance, business analytics, and technology enablement. Working closely with Global Trade, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, IT, and business teams, this role will help translate complex regulatory, operational, and landed-cost data into practical tools, metrics, and recommendations that support compliant and optimized global trade activity.
The successful candidate will be a practical problem solver with strong analytical skills, sound trade compliance judgment, and the ability to build scalable data solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role will help strengthen Chemours’ ability to identify risk, measure program performance, evaluate duty-optimization opportunities, and provide leadership with clear, reliable, and audit-ready insights.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support data quality initiatives related to HTS, ECCN, country of origin, invoice value, Bill of Material breakdowns, Incoterms, other key trade compliance fields.
- Serve as a key user and internal subject-matter resource for digital trade tools supporting value-chain mapping, landed-cost modeling, origin intelligence, duty optimization, and trade-flow monitoring.
- Design and maintain trade compliance metrics, scorecards, and dashboards that track program effectiveness, value delivery, landed-cost impact, duty savings, and emerging risk indicators.
- Identify and support opportunities to streamline, automate, and modernize trade compliance reporting and analytics using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, RPA, or other scalable digital solutions.
- Support origin, free trade agreement, and bill-of-materials analyses by identifying data requirements, modeling qualification scenarios, and flagging areas where additional validation is needed.
- Monitor trade-flow, tariff, and trade remedy data to help identify potential transshipment, origin, circumvention, and landed-cost risks affecting Chemours products and markets

The following is required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, International Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Foundational understanding of trade compliance concepts, including HTS classification, country of origin, export controls, free trade agreements, duty programs, and trade remedies.
- 3–7 years of experience working with large operational, logistics, manufacturing, customs, or trade-related datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to extract, clean, reconcile, and model data from SAP or comparable ERP systems and convert it into dashboards, recurring reports, and management-ready insights.
- Working knowledge of SQL and at least one analytics or visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent; experience with Python or similar scripting tools is preferred.
The following is preferred for this role:
- Hands-on experience with global trade management systems, SAP GTS or comparable trade compliance modules, broker portals, ACE, or similar systems.
- Prior experience in a trade compliance, shared services, analytics hub, or center of excellence environment supporting a multinational organization.
