Description
Arctic Cat is hiring a Trade Compliance Analyst at our Thief River Falls, MN location to support its global trade compliance program by ensuring adherence to U.S. and international import, export, customs, sanctions, and anti-corruption regulations. This role serves as a key partner to Legal, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and international affiliates to develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance controls that minimize risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business objectives. The Trade Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in fostering a culture of compliance while enabling efficient global operations and supporting Arctic Cat's continued growth and success.
Requirements
- Manage import/export compliance activities, ensuring adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, anti-corruption requirements, and company policies.
- Perform and maintain tariff classification, country of origin determinations, customs valuation, and trade agreement eligibility analyses for products and shipments.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, brokers, logistics providers, suppliers, and third-party partners to facilitate customs clearance and resolve shipment issues.
- Support international trade operations by obtaining and maintaining required licenses, certificates, declarations, records, and other customs documentation.
- Administer customs compliance programs, including ACE reporting, FTAs, duty drawback, reconciliation programs, denied party screening, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and operational stakeholders to develop, maintain, and continuously improve trade compliance policies, procedures, controls, and training programs.
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen organizational controls and mitigate risk.
- Develop compliance communications and guidance materials while promoting a culture of ethics, integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and support duty savings opportunities while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years of trade compliance, logistics or procurement experience required.
- Experience using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States
- Proficient in MS Office applications; Excel, Word
- Familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations 19CFR and 15CFR
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for conferences, training, professional development opportunities, and travel between company locations as needed.
The salary range for this position is based on an individual's skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and overall fit for the role.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant professional experience
- At least 2 years of trade compliance, logistics, or procurement experience
- Experience using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Familiarity with 19 CFR and 15 CFR
- Experience with SAP
- Ability to travel up to 10%
