Position Purpose:           

To support daily trade operations of Ascensus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·CDSC and Redemption Fee Research and Tracking

·Processing of Trade Files, Manual Trades, and Trade Messaging

·Resolution of High Priority Trade Assertions

·Research and Resolution of Non-Price Protected Trade Rejects

·Processing of initial account setup and Broker Registration verification

·Corporate Action Processing on Recordkeeping or Trade Platform

·Plan Level Request Processing to include fund adds, exchanges, deletes, model updates, and self direct establishment on Recordkeeping or Trade Platform

·Assistance with Partner Model Rebalances

·Perform first level Quality Control Checks

·Assist on limited basis with Departmental Projects and Initiatives

·Participate in IQP workshops to assist with determining risk and exposure gaps within the departmental processes

· Monitoring and responding to Emails and Trade Support Tickets

• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Minimum Requirements:

·         Bachelors’ degree in Business/Math/Computer Science or equivalent work experience

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel Software

·         Basic knowledge of Retirement Plans and/or NSCC/Fund Serv trading and settlement platforms

·         0-2 Experience in the Trade and/or Retirement industry

·          Ability to manage and meet expectations of both internal and external clients

Work well as a team member; ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with some functions having strict deadlines to adhere to

·         Good written and oral communication skills.  The ability to communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal and external clients is essential.

·         Excellent organizational, analytical, math and problem solving skills

·         Effectively balance multiple priorities and deadlines

·         Flexibility to work overtime when necessary

Skills Required
