What's the Short Version?

The Traceability Analyst supports the execution of SanMar's sustainability initiatives by growing the company's supplier and material mapping efforts. This role collects and manages supply chain data and administer material chain of custody programs. This position works cross-functionally with compliance and product creation teams to provide project support and expertise on relevant initiatives and work to continuously improve existing processes and data quality. The Traceability Analyst supports sustainability program growth through policy development that supports compliance with applicable regulatory, certification, and customer requirements.


What Will You Be Doing?

  • Collect and analyze supply chain data to perform supply chain mapping.
  • Support the development and administration of chain of custody and raw material traceability programs.
  • Support the development and administration of testing programs.
  • Translate data into recommendations for the business.
  • Question how things are done, make the business case for process improvements, and see changes through to implementation.
  • Assist in researching and monitoring sustainability topics, emerging risks, and best practices in traceability.
  • Support development of traceability related policies and SOPs.


What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sustainability, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or sustainability.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Salesforce and Power BI a plus.
  • Good understanding of footwear and apparel manufacturing supply chains.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability topics, including social and environmental issues related to the apparel supply chain.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent data analysis and data management skills.
  • Flexible thinker and problem solver, comfortable with working in ambiguity.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
  • Proven team player that maintains a positive attitude at all times.
  • Domestic and international travel up to 15% annually.


What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $67,725 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience.


Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.


Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
