About the role
We are seeking a Touring Logistics Coordinator to support Manhead by managing the shipping, tracking, and delivery of shipments for the touring department.This role is responsible for ensuring that merchandise moves efficiently, maintaining visibility on shipments, communicating deliveries to stakeholders, and resolving issues that arise during transit.
The position works closely with Production, Warehouse Operations, Accounting, Tour Coordinators as well as external vendors to ensure merchandise shipments arrive accurately, on time, and with clear communication.
What you'll do
Shipping and Freight Coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Schedule pickups and ensure shipments are routed according to tour schedules and venue delivery requirements.
- Maintain awareness of production completion timelines in order to plan shipments appropriately.
Shipment Tracking and Communication
- Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery.
- Distribute or post tracking information, packing lists, and delivery updates to Tour Coordinators, road representatives, and other relevant stakeholders via email and Monday updates
- Confirm proof of delivery and communicate receipt
Exception Management
- Monitor shipments for delays or service failures.
- Coordinate reroutes, expedited shipments, or alternate delivery solutions when issues arise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving logistics-related issues that impact touring merchandise.
Systems and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within Manhead systems
- Compile shipping logs by artist and tour to support Accounting in reconciliation and cost tracking
- Support movements tied to touring
International Logistics
- Coordinate shipments to Canada and other international markets when required.
- Prepare customs documentation and work with international partners to ensure shipments clear borders and arrive on schedule.
Qualifications
- 1-2 Years of logistics experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and competing timelines
- Experience working with shipping systems and tools (Shiphero, etc) required
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to respond quickly to time-sensitive issues
- Experience in touring merchandise, production logistics, or live event operations preferred
- Must be able to report and reliably commute to our Nashville office
