Toolmaker

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Toolmaker to join our team!
In this role, you will typically:
- Follow written work instructions to set up and operate machines to construct tools, dies, fixtures and jigs in a high mix, low volume machine shop
We require:
- Two years machine shop or toolmaking experience;
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 format blueprints
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools and instruments
- The ability to set up and operate a variety of machines
- Design and build fixtures
Eligibility Requirements:
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Whippany Actuation Systems will require proof of status before employment.
Benefits and Compensation:
The pay rate for this position at commencement of employment is $33.79 per hour. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position.”
