BGS is searching for a Tool Room Coordinator located at the Commercial Modification Center in Victorville, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assesses manufacturing requirements and verifies customer requests.
- Coordinates with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Works with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.
- Provides guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts.
- Participates in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state of the art cost-effective products.
- Gathers manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements.
- Investigates changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests.
- Analyzes, procures and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services.
- Explores all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules.
- Supports the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications.
- Participates in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products.
- Reviews on-hand inventory and coordinates re-distribution.
- Participates in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory.
- Support of other site functions as business needs require
- Works under limited supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control
- 3+ years of experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment
- 3+ years of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk
- 1+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
- Willing to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift 55 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Aircraft MRO or production experience
- 3+ years of experience in CRIBMASTER and/or processes related to managing Tool Cribs and systems analysis
- 3+ years of data analytics experience (using Excel formulas and functions)

Summary Pay Range: $65,450 - $88,550
