Job Description:
- Experience in mainframe Assembler applications with legacy skill set (Must Have - Cobol, Assembler, VSAM; Good to have - JCL, DB2, FileAid etc.).
- At least 2-10 years of hands-on coding experience on Mainframe Assembler Technology.
- Having experience of working in LifeComm & Life70 (Insurance Policy Administration products of DXC) would be a plus.
- Should have worked in end-to-end development cycle- analysis, coding, unit testing and implementation.
- Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents moderately complex programs.
- Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
- Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
- Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
- Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
- Agile experience is preferred. Domain certifications (LOMA) are preferred.
- Excellent Communications skills.
