Job DescriptionAlegis Revenue Group currently has an opening for a Third Party Eligibility Account Representative in Pineville, Kentucky. Employees in this position are responsible for assisting patients through the eligibility process for State and Federal programs such as Medicaid and Social Security Disability, as well as in identifying potential Third party Liability. The hourly rate range for this position is $12-$14 per hour, depending on experience. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00.
* Initial screening/eligibility determination of all uninsured/underinsured patients, both in-house and after discharge for multiple eligibility programs.
* Assist patients with the completion of application for all qualified patients.
* Schedule appointments on the patient's behalf with the appropriate agency.
* Act as a liaison between the patient and the agency during the application process.
* Continue to follow up with all accounts in your inventory.
* Update the hospital and company systems with current activity.
* Submit verified billing numbers to the hospitals.
Qualifications* Prior Medicaid experience.
* Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
* 1-3 years experience in related field.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Must be able to multi-task
* Excellent communication skills and customer service
* Detail oriented
