The role:
The Thematic & Specialty ETF Strategist will leverage his/her capital markets, investment management and product knowledge to deliver macro views and product positioning to institutions and financial advisors. The role will work collaboratively with Product Development, Product Management, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Sales and Marketing to position and grow the product line.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Drive growth of the thematic & specialty equity ETF product line in partnership with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, capital markets, product management, portfolio management and product development)
- Help build and reinforce a brand for Invesco ETF products by presenting at industry conferences and serving as the “voice” for the product line in media interviews, sponsored events, webcasts, etc.
- Support efforts to develop and manage insights on the product line through asset class and product-specific communication ; product training and positioning ; product-specific competitive analysis ; market and product performance commentaries; and content development in partnership with Marketing
- Partner with Sales to execute product-specific distribution strategies and participate in client meetings
- Monitor macro market conditions to formulate asset class views, and translate them into actionable investment and product positioning ideas for clients
- Identify new product opportunities as well as assess existing product line to identify opportunities for enhancement
Requirements of the role:
- 10+ years of investment management or research experience, with strong understanding of equity markets.
- ETF and/or index product knowledge and relevant industry experience required.
- Excellent written communication, oral presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to present effectively at corporate, client, and industry events, including large audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; able to build effective relationships across all levels.
- Self-directed professional who can set objectives and work independently while seeking guidance as needed.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field required; MBA, CFA, CIMA, or CFP preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and 65/66 required; periodic travel expected.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $142,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
