TheGamer is looking for eager and talented Freelance Gaming Guides Staff Writers to join their team.
As a Gaming Guides Staff Writer, prospective applicants will be responsible for researching video games, finding topics that would make worthwhile guides, and then writing those guide articles in a prompt manner. We require writers who are driven to succeed, have a way with words, and keep up with what’s trending in the world of video gaming. We’re looking for original, informative, and eye-catching articles.

Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for contributors who can:
- Expand coverage of current, trending video games
- Help to generate guide topics based on site needs.
- Self-edit and publish articles with careful attention paid to SEO best practices (approximately 30 articles a month)
- Pay high attention to detail for spelling, grammar, image quality, fact-checking and sourcing
- If hired, our websites use Emaki to submit all articles. (Training will be provided)
- Never pull details from a secondary source; research must be based on your own playthrough of the respective video game.
- As our websites are meant to be an authority, writers should not write in the first person (e.g., Avoid “I think,” “my suggestion is,” “I love this…,” etc)”
