About the role

We are seeking a technically adept Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team . Reporting to our Director of Accounts, you will focus on selling the Textkernel product line to both new and existing customers. This role combines consultative selling with technical credibility - ideal for someone who can build strong client relationships, uncover opportunities, and advise on API-driven solutions in the Recruitment, HR Tech, & Government/Consultancy industries.

The successful candidate must be bi-lingual (English and Dutch)

A typical day will include...

  • Managing a portfolio of strategic or high-value clients and prospects within the ISV's and/or Government sector and Corporate space.

  • Owning the full sales cycle: from discovery and solution design to deal close and handoff.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding client workflows and how our tech fits into their environment.

  • Collaborating with technical teams to guide customers on API integrations, product capabilities, and implementation best practices.

  • Running product demos, technical workshops, and ROI-focused conversations with both business and technical stakeholders.

  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs and product fit.

  • Providing customer feedback to Product to influence roadmap priorities

This role is a fit for you if you have…

  • 3–5+ years in a client-facing sales or account management role, ideally in SaaS or recruitment tech.

  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data integration, and system workflows.

  • Experience working with or selling to recruitment/staffing agencies or HR tech buyers.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a consultative selling style.

  • Comfortable engaging both business owners and commercial stakeholders, and technical stakeholders (e.g., CTOs, Product Managers).

  • Ability to translate technical features into business outcomes.

Bonus points for...

  • Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems

  • Exposure to REST APIs, and reading technical documentation

  • Background in SaaS, Recruitment, Staffing, or HR tech implementation

  • Understanding of common SaaS sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger, or FPIS)

  • Working with Partners/Marketplaces for ISV's or SI's
