Lumentum is seeking a Tests Specialist to work on optoelectronic testing and assembly processes. In this role, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to work as part of a world-class process engineering team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate testing activities for product validation, reliability and qualification;

• Lead activities to develop and provide jigs and fixtures for tests and pilot lines placed globally;

• Programming and automation for test systems, production equipment, traceability, and statistical data analysis;

• Analyze current technologies used within the company to support the development of processes and products;

• Critical analysis of testing results and problem solving for products and processes, including engineering debug and failure analysis for 8D reports;

• Handling and configuration of optical spectrum analyzer, optical switches, wavelength meter, climatic chambers, optical power meter, benchtop power supplies, electrical oscilloscopes;

• Global communication with developers, quality team, production team;

• Elaboration of process documentation and technical reports.

Skills requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or related fields.

• Experience in product validation and qualification tests.

• Programming knowledge.

• Flexibility on learning from different areas and multidisciplinary project.

• Comfortable with team development and versioning tools (GIT).
