About System Integration & Control Engineer (m/f/d)

Testia's Large-Scale Vision Inspection Team in Ottobrunn, develops solutions for automated quality inspection of aircraft components during manufacturing. Our multidisciplinary team groups different competence fields from software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Our challenge is to generalize sensor solutions, especially machine vision systems, for highly variable component geometries, surface qualities and materials.

Your Tasks

• Develop, design and improve modular test benches for sensor and light systems

• Conduct market research and comparison on existing solutions

• Creation of CAD files and drawings, solicitation of bids and assembly of components to a functional test bench

• Carry out various optical, mechanical, or electrical test series"

What we look for

• Studies in the field of optics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent

• Practical experience with Catia V5 or comparable CAD systems

• Enthusiasm and passion for technical innovation

• High sense of responsibility

• Fluency in English and/or German

• Solution-oriented thinking and willingness to be part of new projects which are not state of the art

• Outstanding team capability, communication, documentation, and presentation abilities
