If you ever wanted to be directly involved in shaping future products and solutions for the semiconductor industry, this is your opportunity! We are looking for a Test Technology Lead who will contribute to the success of the V93000 Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platform.
The Test Technology Lead develops new test methodologies and product solutions addressing the key challenges of the semiconductor industry. As device complexity and testing demands surge, this position leads the definition of next-generation solutions and influences high-impact business decisions. Special focus will be on the SW side, as many industry and test engineering challenges require innovative SW solutions. You are working closely with our worldwide customers, application experts, SW and HW R&D, Product Marketing, Business Teams, and V93000 Business Unit management.
As Test Technology Lead, you will
• Understand and develop new test methodologies for the key challenges of the semiconductor industry
• Align new methodologies with our key customers and industry partners
• Translate new test methodologies into product requirements and new product ideas
• Contribute to the strategic business and product planning
• Steer V93000 roadmap in right direction (portfolio management)
• Drive necessary cross functional alignments within V93000 and Advantest
• Present new test methodologies at customer meetings and external industry events
• Consult senior management on market trends and customer test strategies
This is an ideal position for an experienced test engineering manager with strong marketing and “product shaping” skills who enjoys working on leading edge technology.
- Master or University degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- High experience (> 15 years) in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) business
- Proven track record in test engineering and/or product management
- Deep and broad understanding of semiconductor market trends and applications, test methodologies, test economics, Design for Test approaches, customer workflows, key market players
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of ATE SW from a user perspective, preferably with working experience on different ATE systems / architectures
- Industry recognized and globally trusted technical expert
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing larger cross-functional teams
- Solid communication and presentation/customer facing skills. Ability to discuss technical and business solutions directly with industry leaders.
- Seniority to deal with executive management while technical depth for working with R&D
- Ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing plans
- Self-motivated individual with desire to learn, can-do attitude, self-driven
- Working in an international environment, intercultural understanding
- Fluent English skills combined with an interest in travel to maintain relationship with customers and other Advantest sites in Asia, U.S. and Europe.
