A Test Technician performs diagnostic and quality control on test equipment or systems to ensure the performance meets expectations. Key duties include setting up tests, operating testing equipment, collecting and interpreting data, troubleshooting issues, calibrating, and documenting findings for engineers and quality teams. Essential skills for this role are technical proficiency, attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
•Testing: Conducting various tests and inspections on equipment or systems.
•Equipment Operation: Setting up, calibrating, and operating specialized testing equipment.
•Data Analysis: Recording, compiling, and interpreting test results to identify defects or performance issues.
•Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions or faults found during testing.
•Reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed reports on test findings to engineers and other team members.
•Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning, calibration, and repairs on test equipment.
