Job Summary

The Test Technician will involve planning, set-up, operation, troubleshooting, and monitoring vehicle systems tests and evaluations in lab and track environments. Installation, set-up, and operating required test automation equipment to operate tests. This role may involve following issues to resolution and validation of resolution, providing additional information and data as required to the design teams. Interfacing effectively with support groups and customers, such as Design Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing, etc. The Test Technician at Applied may also collect and analyze test data and use test data to identify trends and/or problems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate good computer skills with Word, Excel, MS Office suite.
• Solid hands-on mechanical skills and experience required.
• Ability to conduct technical hands-on and analytical tasks with little supervision.
• Knowledge of Team Center, Creo, and/or AutoCAD is beneficial.
