Are you an experienced Test Team Leader who is driven to deliver reliable software solutions, enabling continued success for the team and the business? Join the forward-thinking digital team as the Test Team Leader, overseeing critical testing processes, activities, developing testing strategies and creating an environment for collaboration and innovation.  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Develop and implement innovative test strategies and plans to ensure software quality and reliability. 
• Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and security testing activities. 
• Lead, mentor, and support a talented team of test analysts, empowering their growth and professional development. 
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate testing and risk management throughout the software development lifecycle. 
• Champion the adoption of modern testing practices, including automation, continuous testing, shift-left approaches, and behaviour-driven development (BDD). 
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools to drive efficiency and coverage. 
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for testing processes and best practices. 
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. 
• Monitor and report progress, metrics, and results to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement. 
• Reduce lead time to change and improve change failure rates through process enhancements. 

What we are looking for: 

As the Test Team Leader, you will bring previous experience leading and guiding high-performing software testing teams. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, communication and collaboration skills are essential to ensure delivery aligned to Bluecurrent's strategy. 

You will also bring:  

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g. Playwright, Cucumber, JUnit, or similar). 
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection standards. 
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. 
• Experience delivering commercial SaaS solutions or software platforms. 
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar.
