We have an opportunity for a Test Software Automation Engineer to join our team in Brno. You will work on developing and enhancing test infrastructures for satellite antennas and modems used in aviation.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • This position involves software requirements definition, design and implementation of SW, testing and integration of software with HW.
  • Definition and continuous improvement of methodologies for SW development and design, definition of coding best practices.
  • Communicate goals/expectations/issues with stakeholders/team. Make sure all goals are completed in a satisfactory manner and issues timely communicated.
  • Provide estimates, designs and architectures for future products and proposals.

Qualifications

Key requirements

•    College Graduate – BS in EE or CS. Advanced degree preferred and continuous learning expected
•    Minimum 5 years experience since graduating from University.
•    Working knowledge of Python
•    Knowledge of LabVIEW and TestStand
•    Excellent command of English language mandatory
•    Problem-solving and analytical abilities
•    Knowledge of configuration management system

•    Knowledge of the SW development best practices and SW development cycle
•    Experience with HW testing and system integration
•    Capability and willingness to travel to Canada for trainings business meetings and work on project
•    Knowledge of Radio frequency technology
•    Must meet any applicable Export License conditions in terms of nationality for the given project
•    Working experience with Linux OS
•    Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
•    Self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, able to work independently
•    Extremely reliable, trustworthy, with highest ethical standards
•    Interested in working in fast progressing, global business environment
•    Strongly customer oriented attitude
•    Commitment to develop a long-term professional career in Honeywell Aerospace
•    Ability to make decisions and fully taking responsibility for the associated risks
