Test Platform Engineer

Introduction to the job

As a test platform engineer at ASML, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test platforms that ensure the reliability and performance of critical applications. Your work will directly contribute to ASML’s cutting-edge semiconductor technology by optimizing testing processes and enabling seamless integration of software solutions.

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you will develop and manage test platforms to support software validation and system performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing strategies, troubleshoot issues, and enhance automation frameworks. Your key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining test platforms for software and application validation.

• Supporting business requirements by analyzing testing needs and implementing efficient solutions.

• Driving and executing test strategies, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Managing multiple test environments and ensuring timely execution of test projects.

• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing processes.

• Identifying and resolving defects to maintain high-quality software performance.

• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues in test engineering best practices.

Education and experience

• A master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in information technology, computer science, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, platform development, or IT applications engineering.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional and non-functional testing.

• Experience in driving test cycles such as SIT and UAT with multiple vendors.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and automation frameworks.

• Ability to design test architecture and communicate potential impediments to senior management.
