Amach is seeking an experienced QA/Test Lead to support a leading aviation customer in Dublin. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving end-to-end quality assurance across Agile scrum teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-facing solutions.
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in Dublin office)
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Act as the primary QA representative within the squad and across stakeholders
- Drive end-to-end quality assurance activities across Agile delivery teams
- Manage QA capacity, workload distribution, and testing priorities aligned to sprint commitments
- Provide continuous visibility into product quality, delivery health, risks, and blockers
- Coordinate and oversee manual and automated testing activities
- Support regression planning, defect triage, release readiness, and quality sign-offs
- Contribute to automation strategy across UI, API, integration, and regression testing
- Leverage AI-driven testing approaches to optimise test generation, execution, and defect analysis
- Use risk-based testing strategies informed by customer usage and analytics data
- Identify QA process improvements and promote best practices across teams
- Mentor QA engineers and support a culture of continuous improvement
Required Experience:
- Previous experience leading or mentoring QA teams
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and testing tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, API testing, UI testing, and integration testing
- Strong understanding of regression testing and release management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to proactively identify and escalate quality risks
- Comfortable working within fast-paced and evolving environments
