Our content reaches almost every Australian - meaning what we do has real impact. We bring people together, celebrate the big moments, and capture the everyday ones.
Some of our most beloved brands have been part of Australian life for generations, and others - new on the scene - have already found their place firmly in our lives. We’re evolving and we need people like you to bring new ideas, innovate and make your mark.

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Test Manager / Shared Test Lead to own and drive the end-to-end testing strategy and execution for onboarding QMS. This is a hands-on role that leads the overall testing strategy while actively partnering with P&C and Payroll SMEs to guide test scenario writing, remove execution blockers, and keep timelines on track

In this 6-month contract role based in North Sydney (hybrid, minimum 3 days onsite), you will establish the test governance framework, author the Master Test Strategy, and lead cross-functional execution through SIT, UAT, parallel payroll, and production cutover validation. As the central quality authority, you will ensure target enterprise platforms - including Workday, Chris21, Humanforce, D365, SAP Concur, and Basware - are fully validated, reconciled, and ready for Go-Live.

Day to day you will:

  • Author and own the Master Test Strategy, test governance framework, and defect management process across all Finance and P&C streams.
  • Author, implement, and manage the Master Test Strategy, detailed test plans, and scenario frameworks across all Finance and P&C sub-streams.
  • Establish and maintain the testing platform, govern script creation by SMEs, validate test environments, and lock baseline script suites ahead of execution.
  • Manage and oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End Testing (E2E) across core ERP, P&C systems, and sub-ledger interfaces.
  • Manage and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside Finance and P&C SMEs to ensure end-to-end business scenarios are thoroughly validated.
  • Own the payroll validation and parallel-run test strategy, co-authored with Payroll, ensuring go/no-go decisions rest on a defensible variance-analysis approach that separates genuine defects from expected, explainable differences.
  • Establish and manage the defect management process, ensuring defects are accurately reported, prioritised, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner with appropriate detail and impact analysis.

Qualifications
What you’ll bring:

  • Proven track record as a Test Lead / Test Manager driving end-to-end test strategies across large-scale enterprise ERP, HR, and Finance implementations.
  • Functional/Testing familiarity with key enterprise applications: Dynamics 365, Workday, Humanforce, Basware, SAP Concur, NetSuite, and TM1.
  • Hands-on expertise managing test suites and defect triage.
  • Demonstrated experience governing SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll testing, and financial sub-ledger integrations with a strict $0-variance reconciliation requirement.
  • Strong leadership skills to direct cross-functional Business SMEs, Data teams, and Stream Leads while keeping daily BAU operations unencumbered.
