Job Title: Test Lead
Experience :: 8 years +

Skills & Technologies
Automation SME/ Expert • Understand several testing requirements (e.g. functional, technical, automation), and implement them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues
• Experience in designing and implementing automation testing frameworks using Java, JUnit, Postman, Selenium, TestNG and BDD/ TDD
• Ability to look at the application components and debug the errors witnessed, comprehend the log output for error sources etc. is required. Connect with database and check for underlying tables and data accuracy by writing SQL scripts as needed.
• Define the testing approach to be adopted together with the tools that are best suited for the solution.
• Analyse business and testing requirements, create and maintain the test plan, test cases, test suites, test data
• Reviewing design documents, business requirements (Stories), acceptance criteria, within the agile team to build test scenarios for testing activities
• Pro-actively sharing and reporting risks, issues, challenges, blockers and forthcoming tasks to the Scrum Master or Quality Manager.
• Accountable to ensure the defects are detected and reported to be prioritised (based on impact) with the Product Owners.
• Mandatory o Expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber o Should have a strong coding knowledge in Java o Design and creation of low maintenance automation suite using TestNG, Selenium, Java stack of stable re-usable automated tests that can be run during multiple releases. o Experience in TDD/ BDD framework o Test management tools (e.g. JIRA/Zephyr/Capture/Confluence) o Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Good To Have o API testing using Postman o Cloud based Testing tools (e.g. Selenium Grid, Sauce labs, Browser Stack). o Designing and developing Performance test plans for scenarios including scalability, benchmarking, and performance o Design effective tests to check system performance and stability o Run tests to validate Load, Scalability, Stability, and Reliability standards for the Product
