As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Support system integration testing across hardware and software components
- Develop and maintain HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) test environments
- Define and manage requirements traceability and test case mapping
- Track defects and test progress using tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and reliability standards
- Work cross-functionally with robotics, controls, firmware, and product teams
- Build automated test frameworks and supporting tooling.
- Create and execute validation strategies for robotic systems.
- Integrate software, hardware, controls, and networking components into automated testing solutions.
- Develop test plans covering functional, performance, and reliability requirements.
- Analyze failures and partner with engineering teams to drive corrective actions.
- Improve test efficiency through automation and continuous integration practices.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- 3+ years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior) experience in HW/SW testing or validation
- Experience testing robotics, embedded systems, or autonomous platforms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages
- Strong understanding of system integration and debugging methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software interactions
Preferred Qualifications;
- Experience building HIL systems from the ground up.
- SDET or Quality Engineering background.
- Exposure to AI-driven automation technologies.
- Knowledge of safety-critical systems and operational environments.
Successful candidates understand how complete systems behave in real-world environments and are passionate about building automation that improves quality, reliability, and scalability.
Salary Range: $90K-$130k
